How Excel Outsmarted a Class
So I've been having to reteach myself Excel. I learned Sophomore year then forgot. I relearned Senior year and forgot. This time I actually care about learning it, so I'm going to keep it up.
I filmed a simple how to showing how to do functions, autofill, formatting, conditional formatting and sorting.
I'm surprised it didn't stay in my head after Senior year. My math teacher had grouped us up with the task of finding Armstrong numbers manually. I believe this was because she didn't know this function of Excel. Since I had my previous experience with Excel, I knew there was a way to automate the task that would've taken me three hours, I just wasn't sure how. I asked my dad, and within minutes he helped me find a solution that would take at most five minutes.
Moral of the story: if you learn Excel, it can save you from having a mental breakdown over math.
