One word that best describes how you work: Efficiently. I will try to get everything done as efficiently as possible. If I see something that could be changed to make things easier I will bring it up with a superior, or if it’s minor I’ll just do it.
What apps/software/tools can’t you live without? Calendar, Google Docs, YouTube, and Clock. I have to write down all my plans and tasks or I’ll forget, so I LOVE using the calendar app. I also love making lists and just writing things down during brainstorming, and I generally like the layout of Google Docs. YouTube is my main source of entertainment and news, and I use it daily. I just can’t wake up in the mornings so I always have my many alarms set.
What’s your workspace like? Very particular. I can’t work when my surrounding area isn’t clean and neat. Before I begin working on Praxis things every day I make sure my bed is made, my room is picked up, and my desk is clear.
What’s your best time-saving trick? Getting everything done when I’m motivated. Sometimes I’ll randomly feel motivated to get things done and I’m immediately in a flow state. If I roll with that I get things done very quickly.
What’s your favorite to-do list manager? As mentioned before, my calendar app. I check my calendar every day and use it to write down everything I have to do.
Besides your phone and computer, what gadget can’t you live without? My notebook. I love taking notes on whatever task I’m doing, using it to learn, and just brain vomit on a page. I always have an active notebook I’m using.
What everyday thing are you better at than anyone else? General organization. I’m oddly motivated to get it done.
What are you currently reading? Death by Neil Gaiman. Originally recommended to me by my dad. I’ve been enjoying it and am halfway through.
What do you listen to while you work? Smooth jazz. I always start listening to something when I begin working but have to turn it off about five minutes in because I can’t focus.
Are you more of an introvert or an extrovert? Introvert. I would consider myself an ambivert-leaning introvert because I match up best with introversion but love being around friends and making interpersonal connections.
What’s your sleep routine like? Scattered. When I work on building a routine it’s generally tea, hygiene, read, sleep by 10:30. However, if I fall out of the routine insomnia gets the best of me.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? Be kind.
